The Bible, God's Holy Word
West Sayville Reformed Bible Church is wholeheartedly committed to teaching the whole counsel of God's Word in the Old and New Testaments. And we affirm that the Scripture is the Spirit-inspired, infallible truth.
The Bible proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ as its central message, and is widely available in modern English (e.g. ESV).
If you are unable to purchase a Bible for yourself, we would be happy to provide one for you as a gift.
Creeds
The creeds and confessions tell the world not only that we believe the Bible, but how we believe it together. By them we reply, "Amen!" to the truth of God's Word. Along with true Christians in all times and in all places, we adhere to the faith which is summarized in the historic Christian creeds:
Confessions
As a Reformed church, our spiritual heritage is traced back through the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. The Protestant Reformation recovered the supreme importance of the Bible's authority for faith and life and the truth of God's sovereignty in salvation. To defend the biblical truth against error and to unite faithful Christians in the confession of that truth, the Reformed churches adopted confessional documents to serve as faithful summaries of the Bible's teaching.

These documents are often referred to as the Three Forms of Unity because they unite our members in our love for the pure gospel truth, as well as signifying unity of faith within the churches in our federation, the United Reformed Churches in North America. We confess that these documents accurately summarize the fundamental truths of Scripture.
